Beckers Industrial Coatings, Speke, Liverpool - Bulk Resin Storage Project

JFW Construction was appointed as Principal Contractor for the design and build of a new Bulk Resin Storage Facility. The project involved demolition of the existing warehouse and hard standings, followed by construction of a 16m x 20m reinforced concrete tank farm incorporating tank plinths, ground slab, and bund wall. Works also included an RC tanker unloading bund, RC access road, drainage and ducting, and a new electrical switch room.

The project was completed to a very strict programme and carefully sequenced to avoid disruption to the client’s operations. It was designed and constructed to Eurocodes EN1990, EN1991, EN1992, and EN1996, and CIRIA regulations and guidelines. Delivered within a COMAH site, JFW ensured full compliance and cooperation with the client’s stringent SHE procedures at all times.
