Health and Safety
JFW Construction Ltd is fully committed to ensuring a working environment that is safe and without harm to the health of our workforce, or anyone who may be affected. We have developed and implemented our Health and Safety Policy and procedures to this end. The company retains the services of Construction Safety Services, a firm of expert H&S Advisors who support us on all aspects of health and Safety procedures, compliance, training, etc.
CSS Inspectors carry out thorough health & safety audits of all our sites at regular intervals - and leave a written report on site - copied to the Head Office.
The seriousness of our attitude to Health and Safety is further evidenced by the
company’s accreditation with CHAS (Contractors Health and Safety Assessment
Scheme). This is a government led initiative which demonstrates a contractor’s
compliance with, and sound management of current health and safety legislation - it
is reassessed annually.
